4-Week Meditation by the Sea

Location: Umina Beach Surf Life Saving Club

A 4-Week Mindfulness & Meditation Program for Joy, Calm & Wellbeing

 

Wednesdays 6pm - 6.45pm | Starts 26 November to 17 December | 45 mins per session | Bring Your Own Mat 😊

*Please note that the session for Weds Dec 3rd will run on Thurs Dec 4th due to an event booking at the venue. Thanks so much!

About the Sessions

This 4-week program is designed for all levels and offers a fun, welcoming introduction (or deepening) to mindfulness and meditation.

 

Each 45-minute session blends ancient wisdom with modern neuroscience, giving you practical, science-backed tools to manage stress and anxiety, improve emotional balance, and reconnect with your natural capacity for calm.

Across the 4 weeks, you’ll explore breathwork, body awareness, mantras, visualisations, and self-compassion practices — all woven together in a way that feels restorative, engaging, and deeply supportive.

 

Whether you’re seeking more clarity, resilience, or simply a weekly reset from the busyness of daily life, this series will help you feel grounded, empowered, and more at ease — inside and out.

🌟 Week-by-Week Journey

 

Week 1 – The Power of Breath for Calm & Ease
Learn simple breathing tools to regulate your nervous system, lower tension, and activate your body’s natural 'calming switch,' the vagus nerve.
⭐ Walk away feeling centred and equipped to handle daily stressors with more grace and ease.

Week 2 – Listening to the Body
Practice mindful body scans to notice sensations and emotions without judgment, allowing for greater emotional regulation - bringing you fully into the present without fear.
⭐ Feel grounded, attuned, and more connected to your inner signals without being overhwhelmed by them.

 

Week 3 – Mantras & Mindset
Discover the science of how affirmations, thought-labelling, and mantra meditation can soften self-criticism and reshape inner dialogue - allowing for a more compassionate and empowering inner-voice.

Week 4 – Visualisation & the Science of Possibility
Use the science of guided imagery to rewire limiting beliefs, boost confidence, and mentally rehearse the life you’d love to create.

Kids Meditation Classes

Calm Minds, Big Hearts

 

Join this beautiful, fun and relaxing 3-week program designed to help kids build calm, confidence, and resilience through the magic (and science!) of mindfulness and meditation.

 

Here's what to expect:

 

Kids (Ages 6–12) – 30 minutes (3 classes total) 11am

 

These fun and engaging mindfulness sessions teach kids simple breathing, body awareness, and self-regulation tools. Each class includes meditation, games, and creative activities to help children feel safe, calm, and connected to themselves.
